Cranned MCP server
Connect Claude, ChatGPT or any MCP client to a Cranned workspace. Your agent can shape the CRM and work its records, within the permissions of the person who signed in.

Security and data handling
OAuth 2.1 sign-in
Each person signs in with their own Cranned account and approves the connection. No shared keys or passwords are given to the AI app.
Workspace isolation
Every call is scoped to the signed-in person's workspace and enforced by row-level security in the database.
Seat-based permissions
Builder seats can change structure; Data seats can only update records and actions; Viewer seats get no AI access.
Deletion off by default
Destructive tools only work after the workspace owner enables deletion through MCP. Data is never silently removed.
Audit trail
Every change made through MCP is recorded in the workspace's searchable change history.
Rate limits
Calls are rate-limited per user to protect workspaces from runaway agents and loops.
Cranned does not use workspace data to train AI models. Requests from your AI app are processed by that provider under your own agreement with them. See our privacy policy and terms. Questions: hello@cranned.com.

Open Connectors
In Claude, go to Settings → Connectors (Team/Enterprise: an admin adds it under Organisation settings → Connectors).

Add custom connector
Click “Add custom connector”, name it Cranned and paste the Cranned address as the server URL. Leave the advanced OAuth fields empty.

Connect and sign in
Click Connect, sign in with your Cranned account and press Approve.

Switch it on in a chat
In a new chat, open the tools menu, make sure Cranned is on, then say “Help me get started with Cranned”.
Works on Claude Pro, Max, Team and Enterprise — web, desktop and mobile once added.
ChatGPT Custom GPTs (REST API)
Prefer a Custom GPT? Workspace owners can build one from Configuration → API & webhooks in Cranned. The GPT imports the action spec at https://cranned.com/api/public/v1/gpt-openapi.json and uses OAuth: each person signs in to Cranned and approves access, then acts with their own seat's permissions. Owner-created client secrets are shown once and stored hashed; sign-in codes are single-use and expire after 5 minutes.
